Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing its 8th National Competition on Low Cost Automation (LCA) on 6-7 July 2023 through Cisco Webex Platform online and Award Ceremony through physical mode later, to support Government of India’s, “Make-in-India” campaign by enhancing the competitiveness of Indian Industry in the global market.

CII is organizing its LCA & DRA as a platform for comprehensive convergence of all the key elements and stakeholders of the sector for “Building a Competitive Industrial Ecosystem”.

The objective of the competition is to recognize and understand how various Low Cost Automation and Low Cost Digitalisation techniques are implemented by organizations (Manufacturing / Service Sector) in different manufacturing, support and service processes that resulted in improvement in the areas of Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Morale and Energy to enhance Bottomline / Profit.

This two-day online competition is likely to witness more than 40+ Teams who will be showcasing the best-in-class practices and the benefits achieved. There will be a provision for case studies from Automation Gadgets manufacturing industry / Integrators / Automation solution providers and same will be attended by CEOs, Plant Heads, Quality Heads, Production Head, Continuous Improvement Teams, Automation Professionals, Business Excellence Heads, Maintenance Heads, and the likes. Delegates from participating and non-participating companies can join as audience to learn LCA concepts / case studies being presented by 40 + teams from pan India. Last Date for application submission is 20th June 2023.
