Certification Courses On Operational Excellence

The CII Certification Courses for Operational Excellence (OPEX) Practitioners fulfill a much-needed demand to impart practical and contemporary learning on the use of tools, approaches and techniques across organizational processes towards world class manufacturing with special focus on Lean, Waste elimination, Inventory management, Problem solving and Strategy deployment.
Medium of instruction
These courses are offered in an easy paced self-learning mode through on-line learning mode. The content can be viewed on any screen with a speaker headset, through normal internet connection.
Course structure
The CCOP Programme has been structured into three easy to learn course modules with the option to pursue any or all the three courses as under:

• Course Module 1  : OPEX Foundation comprising of Toyota Production Systems, 5S Workplace organization, and Visual Management. To access the course  click here
• Course Module 2 : OPEX Flow & Pull comprising Value Stream Mapping, Kanban systems and shop-floor Skills management. To access the course click here
• Course Module 3 : OPEX Alignment and Improvement comprising Little’s Law and the concept of utilization, strategy deployment and Problem solving. To access the course click here
• Evaluation and Certification: Enables a comprehensive evaluation of the student’s theoretical and practical knowledge on sound OPEX practices. A student who has undertaken at least one of the course modules can take the evaluation examination, keeping in mind that the evaluation shall cover the subjects covered across all the three course modules. Certificates
The Confederation of Indian Industry shall issue a ‘Certificate of participation’ to students on the completion of each course  module. A formal CCOP Certificate shall be issued to students who pass the evaluation examination. A student who attains a score of 80 % or above shall be awarded  ‘Certificate with Distinction’
The CCOP certification shall assure that the candidate has the essential knowledge and skills to guide the transformation required at the shop-floor towards world class manufacturing.
